Pre-Rolls
A pre-roll is cannabis flower already ground and rolled into a paper cone, sold ready to smoke. It removes every step between the counter and the first light, which is why it is the most common first purchase for new shoppers.

What to know before you buy
Singles versus packs
A single is the cheapest way to try a cultivar you have not had before. Multi-packs, usually five or ten smaller cones, cost less per gram and suit shared or repeat use.
Infused pre-rolls
An infused pre-roll adds concentrate, either mixed through the flower or coated on the outside. That raises total THC per cone substantially compared with a standard pre-roll of the same weight, which is worth knowing before you treat one as equivalent.
Freshness
Pre-rolls dry out faster than sealed flower because more surface area is exposed. Buy what you will use, and keep packs sealed until you get to them.
When pre-rolls is the right call
Format mechanics decide this more than anything printed on the label. These are the evenings pre-rolls suit, and why.

Pre-Rolls questions, answered
How much cannabis is in a pre-roll?
Most pre-rolls contain either half a gram or one gram of flower. The exact weight and the lab-tested THC content are printed on the package of every product sold in a New York licensed dispensary.
Are infused pre-rolls stronger?
Yes. Adding concentrate raises the total THC in the cone well above a standard pre-roll of the same weight, so they are usually shelved separately and labelled clearly.
